SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION OF THE EXISTENCE OF GOD

Everyone on the earth today have seen sufficient evidence that God exists, but many have refused to acknowledge it. They continue to suppress the truth about God by attributing His works to nature.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Romans 1:20-21

However, here are a few points to consider about the existence of God:

1 The universe has not always existed

The universe has not always existed, it had a start - what caused it? God did!
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. - Genesis 1:1-3
It is not possible for something to be a cause of itself because there must be an external factor acting on it. God is this external factor by which all things were created. Though Science claims that the creation happened by a big bang, how possible is it for a big bang or explosion to produce the degree of order of the universe? Impossible! There must be a creator.
2. The complexity of our planet points to a deliberate Designer who not only created the universe, but also sustains it today. For instance, take a look at the sun, which rises and sets daily, reaching all parts of the earth and never needing refueling, recharging or renovation like the creation of men. This is the handiwork of the Creator.
3. The universe, though complex, operates by uniform laws of nature. Who set these laws and sustains them?
4. Even the human body is testament to the existence of a Divine programmer. The DNA code in every man informs and programs the behaviour of each body cell. These and more are proofs of God’s existence, greatness and power, expressed and clearly seen all around us.

So Who is God?

He is the Almighty God
As the Almighty God, He is not a mere deity or immortal, He is the source of all existence. All things proceed from His breath and as a consequence of His thoughts.
Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: - Isaiah 42:5
Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.-   Psalms 139:12

God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before
appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his
offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device. And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. - Acts 17:24-31
He made the whole world and then stepped aside so that man may seek Him by choice and feel after Him, so that they might find Him.

He is the Great God

In being the great God, doing wonders is a declaration of His superiority.
For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone. - Psalms 86:10
There is only one God and only one way to Him and to serve Him.

He is the Sovereign Lord

God is independent, needing no partner or counterparts.
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.-  Isaiah 43:10-11
Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. - Psalms 135:6
He is God by Himself, whatsoever He pleases, that is what He does. Your opinion about Him does not change Him or affect Him in any way.
Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou? - Job 9:12
We are just like clay before God and cannot question Him for how he fashioned us.

He is the Mighty God

As the mighty God, he declares His ability to perform His will without hindrances or difficulty.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. Psalms 96:4 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee: - Jeremiah 32:17

For with God nothing shall be impossible. - Luke 1:37

He is the perfect God

Here God is perfect, His judgement is right, He lives no evil without recompense as He watches over all nations.

Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God. He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he. - Deuteronomy 32:3 God cannot be wrong, there is no iniquity that can be ascribed to Him.
For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. - Jeremiah 30:11

God is everlasting

God is everlasting
:He is before all and after all.
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. - Isaiah 40:28 And Abraham planted a grove in Beersheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God. -

Genesis 21:33
Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
- Psalms 90:1-2

He is the eternal God

He is the eternal God
God is higher than all, yet deeper than all, occupying the highest height and the deepest deep, occupying all
dimensions and still existing higher than all.
Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD'S thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. - Deuteronomy 10:14

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION OF THE WORSHIP OF GOD

There is a creator who is the only God, who created us for His pleasure and is worthy of our worship.

1 There is a creator

There is a creator who is the only God, who created us for His pleasure and is worthy of our worship.

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. – Revelation 4:11
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. – John 4:24

There is one true God who is Supreme and Most High.

There is one true God who is Supreme and Most High.

Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them. - Exodus 18:11

Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.  -John 14:28

Jesus Christ the Son of the living God

Jesus Christ the Son of the living God is the word of God who was born of a virgin Mary,
who himself is God and deserving of worship, as you cannot separate God from His word,

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. – John 17:3

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  - John 1:1

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God

The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God and thus God with us, and deserving of
worship, as you cannot separate God from His Spirit.
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.  - 1John 5:7

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. - 1Corinthians 2:11-13

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION OF FORMS OF WORSHIP

Worship is the heart and posture of God’s presence. It is concentrated adoration that is expressed in words, music and actions. Words and songs without concentrated adoration is not worship. It is the internal adoration that validates the external proclamation.
There are two major elements that go together to produce true worship; the heart of worship and the posture of worship:

1. The Heart of Worship:

There are three things you have to know about the heart of worship.
These three aspects of the heart of worship is revealed in the book of Isaiah chapter 6 verse 2;
Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. - Isaiah 6:2
The Attitude of Worship is Reverence: In the above scripture, the seraphim around the throne of God covered their face. This signifies reverence. They cover their face in reverence. This is the attitude required in worship. There is no worship without reverence

The Mode of Worship is Surrender. To surrender is to submit, to crumble, yield, and to give up a person, right or possession. This is required in
worship. We would need to give up all the Lord requires of us as we worship. This was signified by the Seraphims covering their feet to declare that they have no legs, and have thus surrendered to God.

The Focus of Worship is Service: You are really not worshipping God if you are not dedicated to His service. When we worship God, our hearts should be open to His service. This is depicted by the angels flying with two wings.

The posture of worship:

The posture of worship is the means by which the worship generated in our hearts is released unto God.
It refers to the approach, behavior, words, frame of mind, and attitude of worship. It also refers to the position or pose which a worshipper must take in the presence of His majesty.

Here are the postures we may take in worship:
1. Bowing down: Bowing down is also very important in worship.
And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. - Genesis 24:26
2. Lifting up of the hands: We can also express or declare worship by the lifting up of the hands. This also is a declaration of surrender to the Lord.
And Ezra blessed the LORD, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the LORD with their faces to the ground.- Nehemiah 8:6 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.- Psalm 63:4

3. Kneeling down: Kneeling down is another posture that expresses true worship to God. It is different from bowing the knees.
Bowing the knee is simply squatting or bending the knees, while in kneeling down, the knees touch the ground in worship to the Lord.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. - Psalm 95:6-7
4. Falling to the ground: This posture of worship is very significant Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and
sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. - Matthew 4:8-9

In worship, falling prostrate to the ground is the most preferred posture to be taken. However, if you are not in a state to do that, (for instance if you are in a moving vehicle where you cannot stop to fall to the ground) you may engage any of the other forms of worship in descending order as listed above.

In worship, one must take at least one of the postures identified above. Whatever does not involve these four is not worship, no matter how much you sing. One may sing only in intimacy, but in worship, the
worshipper must take at least one of the above postures.

BENEFITS OF WORSHIPPING THE TRUE GOD

Worship is an integral part of serving God. You cannot claim to serve God if you do not worship Him, and when you serve Him in worship, He has promised to bless you.

1 Uncleanliness

Those who refuse to worship the true God are in danger of being given over to uncleanliness.

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart
was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and
creeping
things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: - Romans 1:21-24

2. Vile Affection:

Refusing to submit to the true God and to worship him will also cause one to be given to vile affection.

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the
creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: - Romans 1:25-26

3. A Reprobate Mind:

The Bible shows us that those who fail to submit to the true God and worship Him are also in danger of being given over to a reprobate mind.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity;
whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding,
covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:  - Romans 1:28-31

4. Eternal Damnation:

Asides being in danger of uncleanliness, a vile affection and a reprobate mind, those who refuse to worship the true God are also in
danger of eternal damnation. The Bible shows us this:

In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
 - 2Thessalonians 1:8

And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for
them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the
books, according to their
works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  – Revelations 20:11-15

And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, to execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. - Jude 1:14-15

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? – 1Peter 4:17

DANGERS OF NOT SUBMITTING TO AND WORSHIPPING THE TRUE GOD

Beginning from Romans chapter 1, the Bible shows us the dangers of not submitting to and worshipping the true God. These are highlighted below

image.

1. Fruitfulness:

1. Fruitfulness: Worship is an integral part of serving God.
You cannot claim to serve God if you do not
worship Him, and when you serve Him in worship, He has promised to bless you.
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be
barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil. I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the
people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee. - Exodus 23:25-27
When nations and people begin to worship, they will begin to experience the fruitfulness and the blessings promised in the above scripture.

2 Counsel and Direction

Counsel and Direction
Worship also gives man access to the counsel and wisdom of God.
By this counsel, men and nations will begin to judge right and make decisions that will further their destinies.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
- Psalm 16:7

3. Strength and Peace:

Strength and Peace: When we ascribe to God the worship due His name, He has promised to give unto His people strength and peace.
Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness….
The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
- Psalm 29:1-2,11

4.Deliverance

Deliverance: Rather than bow to the gods of the king, Daniel chose to
worship God three times daily and the LORD delivered him from the will and counsel of his enemies.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. - Daniel 6:10

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. - Daniel 6:16
Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.  - Daniel 6:21-22

5. Power

Power: Also, it is impossible to worship in the presence of God and be powerless, because worship makes it possible for us to partake of God’s holiness, which is power.

SCRIPTURAL FOUNDATION OF THE DAILY THREE-TIME ACT OF WORSHIP

God deserves to be worshipped, but we see throughout time and history that the devil always tries to steal and hijack the worship meant for Him. The Bible records that King Nebuchadnezzar set up a golden image, an idol, for the people to worship in the place of God. They were to worship at a certain time when a signal is given.

God deserves to be worshipped

,God deserves to be worshipped but
we see throughout time and history
that the devil always tries to steal and hijack the worship meant for Him. The Bible records that King Nebuchadnezzar set up a golden image, an idol, for the people to
worship in the place of God. They were to worship at a certain time when a signal is given.

Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of

Babylon.  Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up. Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up. Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,  That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:  Daniel 3:1-5

Daniel who had a revelation

But Daniel who had a revelation of the One true God refused to bow to an idol. Instead, the Bible shows us that he prayed and worshipped the LORD thrice every day.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he
kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
Daniel 6:10
He knelt and worshipped God three times a day despite the instructions of the King. Worshipping God three times daily is scriptural.

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
Psalm 55:17

Like Daniel, our commitment as Last Day worshippers is to worship the One true God through the daily three-time act of worship, regardless of any contrary law or circumstance, because He alone is worthy of worship forever and ever. As a global community, our passion is to help believers all around the word build a culture of worshipping at least three specific times daily.

As busy people, Satan is still calling us to worship sports, our career, movies etc. In many ways, we have relegated the worship of God to a Sunday service where many do not even
participate in worship. The daily three-time worship seeks to put God in the midst of our work and busy
schedule. It is the willingness to pause whatever pleasure we may be enjoying at any time to give at least 60 seconds in a posture of humility before our Maker to give him the preeminence.

OUR WORSHIP TIMES AND DECLARATION OF WORSHIP

We have a daily three-time act of worship.
9am – Holy Spirit Worship
12Noon – Jesus Worship
6pm – God worship
Declaration of Worship
In these worship times, we would be making a declaration of worship of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit as follows:

(a) Holy Ghost Worship (9am)

Holy Spirit of the living God.
I welcome You into my life, my home and my businesses. Help me today not to grieve You in any way as I lay myself down in total worship and surrender to you.
I consecrate my body, soul and spirit to You oh Lord my creator, companion and Helper.
May all that I say and do today be directed by you to bring glory to the Father. Amen. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. – Ephesians 4:30 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,
neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. - John 14:16-17

(b) Jesus Worship (12 Noon)

(b) Jesus Worship (12 Noon) Thou art worthy of worship O lamb of God, slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing for through thy blood, thou hast redeemed us to God out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation.

I consecrate my body, soul and spirit, and all that I have to thee in love and pure worship my sweet saviour, Lord and Master.

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and
wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every
creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.  Revelations 5:11-13

And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou
me? And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.  Acts 22:6-8

(c) God Worship (6pm)

Thou art worthy oh Lord God of heaven to receive glory, honour and thanks for thou has created all things, and for thy pleasure they were
created. I declare You are God, and I consecrate myself to You as Your creature in worship.
My body, soul and spirit and all that I have is yours, and in your power. Let my life bring you glory forever, oh thou God whose I am and whom I serve.
The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Revelations 4:10-11

In addition to these prayer times, at 3am daily, we observe A call to Prayer for Global Revival and the outpour of God’s Spirit upon the earth, so that many more will come to know, surrender to, and worship the One True God.

JOINING TO PROPAGATE TRUE WORSHIP OBLIGATION

As a Last Day Worshipper, you are expected to become an ambassador for the propagation of true worship to God. Therefore, you would be required to implement the daily three-time act of worship in your household or organization. You may purchase a bell for your home or organization that will ring at the times of worship, to call all occupants to observe the worship time. It is also important to appoint a bell keeper who will ring the bell at the times of worship.
You would also be required to spread the word about the Last Day Worship Network and help to recruit more Last Days Worshippers by sharing the revelation of true worship with them. Your obligation would be to register between one and seven new worshippers weekly.
